About Me

I would describe myself as an honest, straightforward individual who strives to keep the Sunnah at the heart of my daily life. Professionally, I have a background in public service; I spent 2.5 years working with the Police, and I have recently transitioned into a new role as a receptionist for the Probation Service. Beyond my 9-to-5, my heart lies in creativity. I work as a freelance videographer and occasionally appear as an extra in TV and film. I am deeply passionate about filmmaking and video editing, and my long-term goal is to use these skills to produce inspiring, high-quality projects rooted in Islamic values. I believe in lifelong learning, especially when it comes to our faith. I speak a little Urdu and am currently dedicated to learning Arabic. For me, this isn't just about linguistics; it’s about gaining a deeper, unfiltered understanding of the Qur’an, connecting with the global Ummah, and investing in my Akhira. I come from a close-knit, university-educated family, Alhamdulilah. My father is an accountant and property developer, my mother is the heart of our home as a housewife, and my brother works in housing tenancy. Having a grounded and educated family environment has shaped much of who I am today. I like to stay active and believe in taking care of the body Allah has loaned us. You’ll often find me training in martial arts and boxing, cycling and playing cricket, shooting pool or traveling to new places and spending time behind a camera or in an editing suite.
